| Just used Budweiser or Busch Light if I remember correctly. No poison or anything added to it. They like the taste and keep drinking till they can't hold anymore and die. Carried out many VERY ROUND belly dead rats when we use it. Have always found it very effective
Edit to add: I had to Google Phostoxin. We definitely did not use that nor would use it where people are. Always used just straight beer, any kind really, and it works very well. Always used it when you don't want to kill other animals
