| It looks like a regular Deere tag but it is marked duplicate
98 model tractor
On line search says Deere has a process and controls this but that is internet information
Local Deere dealer was sold to a mega site dealer. They won’t run serial numbers for stuff they don’t have on their lot
One of the customer service things the locally owned previous owners would do
Still buy all my parts at this dealer and have them do some of the bigger or in season repairs I can not get to. Always pay their invoices without question. Just seems doing the little things I used to take for granted are gone
Buying used is a gamble, fully understand that
Just never have seen a tag marked duplicate
Location of tags seems pretty hard for them to just fall off or be damaged
Not sure if serial number is stamped somewhere on tractor I can match up
Jockey who has tractor doesn’t have the history or know why it is duplicate. Could be a legitimate claim
Thoughts are the tractor was totaled out and rebuilt? Etc etc | |
