Subject: RE: Planter fertilizer pump

West Central MN
Pump is an Ace FMCWS-650F-HYD

The manufacturer spec sheet says required hydraulic flow is 8.3 to 14.5 GPM depending on flow and pressure. A 12-row at 5 gal/ac at 5 mph should be on the lower end of that scale if not below it for hydraulic need.

There are many different sizes and brands of hydraulic pumps so don't lock into what I'm using on a 24-row as it may not be the best fit for your application.

Without knowing the details of your planter hydraulic requirements, would say odds are good on a 8220 running a hydraulic pump.
