Osakis,Mn
Not my first time in Montana, made many trips as I have relatives in Kalispell MT. Most trips in summer, however we did get shut down in Bozeman one February by a blinding snowstorm. This trip was 24 hrs after a snowfall and a clear cold day with sunshine, I thought it was unusual to see only one snowplow in 6 hours of driving on I 90, when the passing lane definitely needed some attention, either sand or salt. The passes were ok, guess they concentrate on keeping them open while the open country is white knuckle driving passing someone going 40-50 mph on the interstate highway. I just observed that I had experienced better conditions in North Dakota and Minnesota under the same circumstances.
