Do you really think anyone who buys land at ANY price hasn't calculated his payment until its time to make it?
Do you really think they're buying land for a ROI?
They're paying those prices because:
They have most/all of the cash
They have a lot of other land paid for to supplement the purchase.
It's really that simple in the majority of the purchases.
