Talk to your wife after coming up with ideas about your work schedule. Find out her expectations for what/how holidays & her family should look like. Do yall have that secret signal that says it's time to go when you or her have had enough? Every couple needs that signal!!!
Worry about what happens in your house and anyone outside of it doesn't get an opinion. If you like your inlaws, fine. If they are tolerable, then tolerate them. Give them grace but don't give them a vote in Your life, inheritance or not. Life is too short and you'll never please them anyway.
