Subject: RE: AI threatened Youtube channels

Yesterday I talked to a guy who had dinner with a couple of university professors a couple months back and the subject of AI came up. The professors said that they tested AI themselves and a paper that would have taken at least a couple of weeks to do themselves took an AI about 7 minutes. Then they graded it and they would have given it about a B-. They said the majority of their students would be happy with that mark.

They said that currently AI is a real problem as it has almost become normal for students to use AI to do at least some level of their work for them. The only way around it that they can see is actual one on one verbal testing to ensure that the students have at least some level of knowledge.
