Southeast Colorado | I blow out filters constantly. Can't afford new ones other than once a year.
I use my home made bead blaster. It has an 8 gallon tank. I just unscrew the flattened 2" pipe (for doing tires) and screw on a 2" pipe welded to an old disk blade. A couple of shots, drop in a metal coffee can for another couple of shots (blows the filter out higher)........than use a radiator air wand with a 90 degree tip to finish it off. Been doing this system for 30+ years. If I'm ruining everything.........so be it. | |
