More unharvested corn Dec 1st 'here' than I can remember.
It was due to being too wet, overwheliming the grain dryers at the elevators, combined with one of the bigger elevators having the dryer go down for about a week (which explains some of the lateness but not all of it).
On a 'normal' year, we harvest 19% corn by Oct 10. This year, the same number that was 18% last year on Oct 10 was 26%.
