North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | Many years ago when I worked at a big farm near Selma in the Alabama Black Belt, the local JD dealer had a customer appreciation dinner and Auburn head coach Pat Dye was the speaker.
He gave an inspirational talk praising farmers and his philosophy for a good life. Work hard, play hard, live a Christian lifestyle was his theme.
Maybe look for a local celebrity that everyone knows?
