Last one we did we used double sided tape and attached 4x4 squares of steel to the tape to the cab. Then Attached the light bar with magnets. Have several running like this going on 5 + plus years.
This is kinda what I’m leaning towards. I’ve done the same for some GPS receivers on equipment.
A headboard would be nice, but I’d have to rework the hydraulic tank also.
