We made a hitch that attached to the feeder house cylinder mounts. Put it in neutral and pull with a tractor.

With the transmission in neutral, it will not try to spin the hydrostat. I don't know if there is an internal pump in the transmission that should be spun, but it didn't matter to us as we have just used it as a parts machine since we drug it home from the field with a blown up engine.

The hitch needs to be rigid so you can stop without jackknifing. It will steer without the engine running, but will take a lot of effort.
