Northwest Iowa | Was looking at those contracts this weekend. I like pricing off of Dec and than rolling out to March, may, and July depending on the carry. Carry’s today from dec to those months aren’t as great as what I have seen in the past. Around late august usually you can get close to .20 to march, .30 to may, and can’t remember what I saw for july. If you pull up March and may 2026, at this time a year ago, we are .40 or so stronger in the March and may 27 like your seeing. I’ve been telling people there is some nice prices, relative to a year ago, if you look out there. Can hedge some decent levels in my opinion. Myself I’m working off Dec 26 with HTA’s and than will work on rolling it out as the carry expands to that .20 and .30. | |
