Idaho

PhilToddCo - 12/1/2025 18:49 Traveled Bozeman MT to Bismarck ND yesterday and was not impressed with the snow/ice removal on I 90 and I 94 in Montana. Passing lane was compacted snow and ice, so lots of single lane traffic. As soon as we entered North Dakota all lanes were clear and dry. Did Montana operate on a skeleton crew Thanksgiving weekend? I only saw one snow plow in Montana and that was in Billings. Under those conditions in ND or MN there would be many of snow plows every 100 miles until the road was cleared of snow and ice. Kudos to the ND and MN road crews for giving us clear roads after every snowstorm, usually within 24 hrs.

That hard to drive on a little snow? Around here school busses break the trail for the snow plows. Never been a real problem.
