Subject: RE: 1780 planter

NC KS
I don't use the markers for starters. I put the center section wheels on 1 outlet and the wings on another. The fold goes in another outlet and the center extend lock is redone patterned after the one did by Agtalker Ryand (not sure if that is right spelling of user name). I use a small cylinder with base pin mount on top of center tongue, I welded steel on to the existing lock mechanism and attached rod end of cylinder to that. I use a 3x8 cylinder but a 2x8 would be plenty. 3 point raises and lowers the front. I use it in the field crossing terraces and ridges.

The only downfall to this is the planter doesn't raise and lower evenly. I think I could fix that with some valves and a factory White Friesen frame shows some external valves that probably help with level lifting and lowering.
