My hired man turned his resignation this morning, (a good man) I didn't see this coming. He went to the fertilizer company for benefits, 401K and an increase in pay. (maybe less work) What is everyone paying for help? I felt like I was compensating him fairly. Any input would be appreciated
Do you pay overtime at 1.5x hourly rate? Most farms do not and that is why they loose empolyees to other employers along with 401k. What were you paying hourly rate? |
