North of London | I don't think the grass medians are anywhere near enough room to stop a vehicle doing 100-120 km/hr
My experience from before any barriers were used and before seat belts were used much
A car probably skidded out on a little slush or ice, it was winter, slid sideways through median and another on our side of road hit the side of car that car head-on
People were thrown out of car
Others still in car on other side than was hit looked badly beat up
driver of vehicle that hit skidding car probably injured by steering wheel, passenger in that car not hurt too bad, maybe had seat belt on.
Cables or any divider barrier have seemed like a good idea after my experience in the 1960ies and both vehicles were right offs with no cable to damage them. | |
