I remember back when I was a kid.  At Christmas, My Aunt her husband were always in a rush
to get home after our evening meal.  They only lived 4 miles away, he was the reason, just a
turd.  Good to see them go home early.

As far as feeding the cattle, if you need to adjust the feeding schedule a bit occasionally, then
do it.  In the end it will not matter much.  On the other hand if you are in a rush, then maybe you
should go home yourself, and let the rest of your family stay later.  You are probably not much
fun to be around anyway, and won't be missed.
