Yes

There’s usually a 4 bolt pattern at front and at rear of engine as well as more forward of the engine attaching the rail to the front steering motor casting

What makes more sense is if your engine to clutch housng or clutch housing to transmission bolts are not torqued properly. That would cause misalignment in the clutch and transmission input shaft that should screw up shifting.

That’s a scary thought but either of them should be seeping oil.
