For dairy at least, they have feed in front of them most of the day….when you feed it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. I would assume other livestock to be similar……. maybe not. If your livestock is not dairy cows, I would think flexibility in feeding is doable….unless you simply don’t want it to be.
