 Westport, IN | I would think that most that hit the cables would have not made it to the other lane anyway. I get that in certain curves they might help, but a simple slide off becomes a totaled vehicle. I think they would be better close to the middle to give time to recover/ or stabilize themselves. Do those even stop a semi? I'm sure they slow down one.
It seems like after they are hit it's a mile of slacked in cables. Not sure how that helps, and it seems to take months to repair. | |
