If you store a lot of grain near, you need to look into a pest management business. They set big traps around bins, buildings and houses. At first they come more often, then about once every 3-4 months. Pretty reasonable when you consider what wiring harnesses and such cost.
Also, add putting the Renuzit air fresheners, the cone shaped ones. Get some fragrance with cinnamon in them, for some reason they hate the cinnamon. Pretty cheap around a 1.25 each. Bonus, your cab does not smell after being shut up for a while. During the winter months I replace them once a month. You do have to scrub the cab good. If they have peed in your vents already boy I don’t have a solution for that one.

Best of luck
Stacy
Add, the bait they put out is pet friendly.
