SW Iowa | I believe 2019 was the first year of the BlueVantage system which is a totally in house design compared to the outsourced electronics system of the previous Kinze electric drives. BlueVantage has had updates every year since launch and is a good system, very simple to setup and go to the field. There is a full diagnostic system and health page in the BlueVantage monitor which is very helpful when you have an issue in the field. Some BlueDrive planters were optioned with PTO pumps so that only two SCVs on the tractor are needed. Very user friendly system and easy to work on after you learn the details on it. Just about every component on a row unit can be swapped with the row unit next to it for diagnostics. | |
