I was directed to a Medicare Advantage Plan when I went on Medicare.  This past winter, I had significant surgery (I had a stroke.)  I have been very happy with how my Medicare Advantage Plan has covered the costs.   I have hear all those stories about Advantage Plans are not good.  That has not been the case.  At least, not for me.

I think there are some companies that maybe a person needs to avoid.  Think about those companies that advertise the most about their Medicare Advantage Plans.  Personally, in 2026 I plan to stay with the same company that I had in 2025.
