Hopefully you can zoom in on pictures. Autotronics is looking for speed and pressure to allow the shift. If 4wd is working should have good pressure reading for the autotronics. If you have 4wd engaged will it disengage when you are driving fast? That will say if speed sensor is working.
the only thing that disengages 'at speed' is the differential lock- kicks out around 6-8 mph...
4x4 works at all speeds.. and been this way since I bought it 5 yrs ago.
the indicator light (rabbit, turtle) changes..(I'm thinking here, the 'autotronics' part is functional)
another clue the autotronics part is ok here... the indicator will instantly change while stopped, but if rolling a little, it'll wait for the tractor to completely stop before the light changes- so I believe the ''speed' thing is functional. at least in the range shifter part.
This summer, after bending that servo valve up, it would 'kick out' of high range, and end up in neutral.. coasting to a stop. I discovered the bent servo, replaced it, and been good up until yesterday. it was bent in such a way it wasn't allowing full stroke of the solenoid's armature..
finding the 'action' that pulls in into low range will be first thing to nail down, then work the problem backwards.. somewhere buried in one of my devices I have the digital version of a very piss poorly organized service manual
