As far as fee, there is none IF you choose to wait for depositing funds into your account (1-3 days usually). If you want the dollars transferred that day, it's not cheap IMHO. But I surmise some folks can't wait and will pay the expensive fee.
DON'T leave monies in your Venmo account it is not FDIC insured or safe from crooks/hackers is my understanding.
Bottomline, use it. I have it only tied to my personal checking (non-farm) account. | |
