Subject: Mice in cabs

Southcentral Montana
Recently found a decent mouse nest in the rarely-opened cupboard above my stove and promptly took care care of it and set out a dozen traps. My house is ancient and mice a persistent problem.
Well it got me to thinking about Gene Hackmans wife being found dead of hantavirus so of course I about lost my mind thinking I’m about to catch it, until I realize it couldn’t have been anywhere near as bad as my combine cab…my lord you get in it and it smells like nothing but mouse scat and black ice air fresheners I put in it to deaden the mouse smell, as well as constant droppings by the header reel speed control no matter how often I clean it. But I probably should deal with it before I drop dead of the hantavirus at the ripe old age of 28. Anybody have any luck with remedies to keep them away from equipment cabs?
