| I have an electrostatic smoke capturing thingy in my shop. It helps a lot but you still need to open the shop door to clean the smoke out. An exhaust fan may be better but you will still be opening the door often enough especially if you are welding away from the bench and at large in the shop. Just a fact of life.
Nothing is perfect with smoke removal but opening the door is better than lung cancer which is what will you will have if you don't. Welding smoke toxins make cigarette smoke look like Kool-Aid. Knew a guy that welded up battle damaged military tanks. He lasted a couple of years. | |
