Galena IL | I installed a ventless gas fireplace in my son’s house about 15 years ago. They use the same technology as a cook stove burners. 100% efficient and you don’t have to run chimney pipes. It has a manual gas shut off that if the oxygen level gets below, I believe it’s 17%. It will shut itself off. Don’t know where you are, but we bought it from Benson Stone in Rockford, Illinois…..
