NE Neb | Not much of a description in book. Looks like its hyd activated both ways. I could've sworn it was spring returned one way. Hopefully you can zoom in on pictures. Autotronics is looking for speed and pressure to allow the shift. If 4wd is working should have good pressure reading for the autotronics. If you have 4wd engaged will it disengage when you are driving fast? That will say if speed sensor is working.
