Subject: RE: Deere 50X5 tractors

I’ve got some older Deere, massey, ford tractors of similar size I use to pull balers. Bought a 5075E new. I’ve got 1,000 hrs on it with no issues. Pretty gutless in low RPMs. Also very slow down the road tops out at 15mph. Mine is a shuttle shift I believe that’s the only configuration you can get. Before I bought this I checked all the other brands but found the Deere was the least worse in terms of cheap plastic, rough riding, that kind of stuff. What sucks the most in my opinion is you can only get 2 remotes without a loader package and there is no locking detent for constant flow. I like my older tractors better most are naturally aspirated and has much more low end torque, but the newer one has much higher high end hp so it’s better for mowing/pto work. What I also like about buying a new tractor is one day I’m hoping I’ll be able to buy an autonomous system for them and reduce my labor. It’s coming soon I think!
