Hello all - long time reader but first time posting. I farm out on the east coast (Maryland) and electronics has always been a hobby of mine. Over the past year I have been working on this prototype device that serves as a maintenance reminder for greasing equipment. It is essentially a timer that runs only when it detects motion, so you can set it to however many hours you want and it will flash red when the timer expires, and then is reset by pressing the button after the machine is greased.

This is probably overkill for a lot of operations but we have a fair amount of equipment that is used by multiple operators and this eliminates greasing the machine every time you hook up especially when using it only a couple of hours.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any feedback on this idea - also willing to send out a few prototypes if anyone wanted to test them out. www.motion-mark.com
