Lac qui Parle County Minnesota
I have rented a 40 from my church for almost 40 years now. It’s always been on shares, 60/40. A few years after I started renting, I was tired of dividing up the fertilizer and chemical shares so I just started paying for everything. I figure that is my donation to the church. I don’t make a lot of money on it, but I feel that is a good place to put my time and talents. The church set up a separate cemetery association transferring most assets over to the association. That insures perpetual care for the cemetery grounds well beyond my lifetime.
