Our Church puts the farm out on sealed cash rent bids every three years with the right to reject any and all bids. Consideration is given to church member slightly lesser bids bids if maintenance tasks like snow removal, lawn mowing, or other tasks are included in the bid. And yes, I was the high bidder and rented it for three years at one time during my farming career.
