| Don has a 340 with CVT & suspended transmission. Pulls a 16x30 1250 planter, 15 knife AA bar, 30’ Excellerator, and occasionally a 7x16” plow. I haven’t run it that much but handles & rides smooth. He complains about the transmit whine but I haven’t noticed it being that bad. Maybe because I grew up on open station tractors. If you’re planning on doing heavy tillage with it you might want to consider one with the powershift transmission as he says it tends to run hot under heavy loads, plowing. I never noticed it running hot pulling the Excellerator @ 8 mph in stalks this fall | |
