Reminds me of my BIL convicted of auto theft, he claimed wrongful prosecution till he died.
His reasoning was that he didn’t steal them, only did the paint, body work and VIN swap! The VIN part was always left out once he got started ranting about the government. I would gently remind him when he got done!
would guess if the restitution gets paid and he has a competent lawyer he'll be home to plant the 2026 crop and play the game again under a new entity with fresh APH's and a little more thought on how to not get caught this time. Many others doing what he did at even bigger numbers that never get in trouble and expand every year doing it.
