Any experience with a good aftermarket parts store out there or any good salvage yards people have had good experience with? Need some parts for a CAT excavator. A lot of options on the internet but last time I went down that road for some undercarriage parts I thought I was taken for several hundred $$. Parts did end up coming but it was 2 months later.
Looking for an exhaust and cab “kick-board” glass. I do have a dealer close but don’t really want to spend the extreme high dollar CAT parts for a farm use 94’ excavator.
Was told by friend who is the excavation business that he can get “classic caterpillar” parts through some cat dealers at a steep discount to normal cat parts. Also some other dealers who don’t sell cat have access to these parts as well, maybe someone with experience with this can chime in.
