80s of course. Land bank foreclosed on guys and had a really hard time finding renters. People didn’t want land especially not on a short term rental. Expected yields were low, interest rates were in the teens. The cost of money/inputs exceeded the expected revenue let alone return to management. Forced a lot of consolidation on both producer and supplier. But we have more banks than ever fwiw.
