Drying and shrink is still a big deal here. Last year mystery yield loss was having a party. This year I don’t think there was much if any. As you said every area and yesr is different. For various reasons we prefer to shell most corn at 18-20% to 23-24%. We shelled a lot of 16% corn this year, which turned out ok. Most years we’d be better off shelling wetter corn.
