Regardless, it still applies if you're avoiding buying another truck and hiring another driver. Paying the existing help to do something productive in the winter beats paying them to sweep the shop everyday to keep them employed so you have them when you need them.
Correct, morale is higher when everyone is doing something productive… can’t put a price on that
