The #1 reason we have bins is to facilitate getting harvest done in a timely manner.  

Once the bin is built, I’ve never given the cost or profit from the bin a lot of thought.  I absolutely hate delivering unsold grain anywhere.



I agree with this.

A lot of what if and maybes in favor of bins but no what ifs and maybes against it. Bins must never go bad and the price only gets higher the longer you store.

And as I type this with the last field standing with no place to go with it and it’s snowing I fully appreciate the idea of having a bin.
