Get a boiler and a "boilermate" for hot water use in the shop. We have had this set up for 23 years. Works great. We have no drain on the boiler. When you hook up the floor heat lines, you need a way to get the air out of each run. Once all the air is out, there is no need to "bleed" again. Haven't bled ours in 20 years.

Brother in law had a system like that in his house. Eventually removed it. He felt it was a very inefficient way to heat hot water when you do not need heat for the house or shop.
