I don't disagree with that, especially pertaining to the LED strobes.
But I also think that the majority of new vehicles with LED lights have head lights that are dangerously bright, blinding oncoming traffic even on dim. Especially pickups/SUV's that have their headlights up higher and shine directly into the eyes of anyone that sits lower than a pickup/SUV.
