North of London | Moving in with you can work well depending on the personalities.
Mother in law lived with us for several years as she lost her sight and had a few health issues too
that was no problem she did her best to not be a burden and seemed to be content to listen to audible books and some TV programs.
Did not work out as well when father in law moved in.
If dementia is the problem then you need door locks to ensure they do not wander and other saftey measures too
Had a grand mother stay for a couple weeks while her children took a break from looking after her.
She decided to make tea one day while we were out for a few minutes but she tried using the electric kettle on the stove.
A lot of protection needed when dementia is the problem.
I forgot to mention ease of facilities for people who are not as agile.
Walk in showers instead of tubs to climb over and not many steps to deal with.
Eventually often need wheel chair accessible
