Central IL | This is a bit of a complicated question but totally doable if your committed. You can use a tankless water heater for your application as floor temp return water will be cold coming back to the “boiler”. You will need a circulator maybe like. Taco 009 or 11 depending upon your loop lengths. For the basics you need fill and drain valves an air absorber a temp and pressure guage would help at the floor input need manifolds for terminating all that pex thermostat on the wall or even in the floor to turn on the circulator. That should cover the basics but there are a lot of details that matter to put it together. Btu if i had to guess maybe 150 to 200k but thats determined by heat loss and insulation vs outside expected temps. Checkout the help at one of the heating forums if your serious about doing it yourself. | |
