Abortion proved to be no more than a "dog whistle" when trump promised to veto any abortion ban that came across his desk to buy some votes. Maga fell in line of course and the subject went quiet.
So I asked you this question:
I never followed it close enough to know exactly what he promised but I thought everyone was claiming he was taking women’s rights away when he was actually only saying that he was not going to get involved and was leaving the abortion issue to be decided at the state level. Was there more to it than I thought?
I asked very nicely yet I am still waiting to hear an answer. I had thought you likely knew something that I wasn’t aware of but I am beginning to think it is your statement that is the dog whistle. Please answer the question. Personally I think it is a good thing that he refused to be a dictator when it comes to women’s rights like that but maybe there is something I don’t know.
