1466driver - 11/27/2025 08:58 Looks like a very narrow road , looking behind the combine, the mailbox and trees look to be right at the edge of the road. Looks like a bad spot to be with a wide implement .
That road doesn't look that narrow
(standard pavement width for a 2 lane is ~24'
) and appears to have wide shoulders with shallow/non existant ditches. By contrast, here we would have that same road width with maybe a 2' wide shoulder and the combine would be laying on its side at the bottom of a 6'-8' deep ditch.
If you blow the picture up and zoom in on the mailbox it looks like it is further from the pavement than it originally appears. Looking at where the wreckers outrigger is placed, it appears that the wrecker is directly beside the mailbox and partially off of the pavement.
