I guess in a way it makes kind of a twisted sense that the standard recommendation is to eat a low salt diet. If they go on the assumption that nearly everybody is metabolically sick, makes sense that the default recommendation is for a sick person.
But it may not be optimal for everyone. Yet that seems to be what the medical assumption has been for 40 or 50 years???? A low salt diet for everyone???
