Mid Michigan | I just ordered some this fall from a nursery here in Michigan called www.nurserymen.com. Great place to buy trees from. They offer the plugs that you just drill a hole in the ground with a cordless drill and big bit. I can plant a tree in about 30 seconds. I just ordered 100 Dawn Redwoods monday to plant this weekend. In the fall I ordered 100 White spruce seedlings and put them in. I actually planted the trees in tree tubes to protect them from the elements this fall but took them off this spring because I thought they would get too hot in there. Rabbits and deer destroy the bark on everything. It will remain to be seen if I have many survive. I did some bigger spruce and austrian pines too that were marked on sale at the local fruit stand.
