What’s the timeframe in the slaughter weight increase? The WASDE has feed demand for the current usage year up 600mb(10%) over this past year and 300mb larger than two years ago.

Thats what concerns me.. sure more Corn fed per head.. but.. less head total.. so usage is down in Beef.

Maybe poultry or Pork is absorbing it?  Higher Beef prices leading to more chicken.. pork consumption..???  More production??

I can see Corn usage up overall.. but 600 myn bu?!?

Wow that's alot.. maybe 100.. maybe 200.. but 600???

Furthermore, it wouldn't surprise me to see them up last years corn yield.. then maybe all the talk of lower yields this year doesn't seem as out of line.

Dont get me wrong.. I'd like higher Corn prices.. but think we'll see $3.50.. before we see $5.00.. but who knows?
